Whether it’s our BiPolar or High Performance Time-of-Flight detectors, you’ll know you have today’s most advanced TOF detector technology. These patented Time-of-Flight Detectors offer previously unobtainable levels of temporal resolution, dynamic range, and high mass detection sensitivity for Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry. BURLE's unique 2-Micron pore Microchannel plates provide the highest channel density of any MCP providing gains in excess of 5x106.

BURLE detectors are designed with cartridges which contain a Chevron™ set of two Long-Life™ small pore Extended Dynamic Range MCPs, and a high transmission grid mounted in a rugged module. If necessary, this module can be purchased separately, allowing quick and easy MCP replacement.

BIPOLAR TIME-OF-FLIGHT DETECTORS

BURLE BiPolar Time-of-Flight detectors are contained in a low-profile assembly integrating a newly developed high sensitivity Microchannel plate and electro-optically isolated signal output. The detector is available in a free-standing vacuum module or a flange mounted assembly.

HIGH PERFORMANCE TIME-OF-FLIGHT DETECTORS

BURLE’s exclusive small pore MCPs, with pores two microns in diameter, offer the highest channel densities of any MCP available. This channel density provides dynamic range improvements of ten times that of conventional Microchannel plates.

The BURLE Miniature Time-of-Flight Detector offers previously unobtainable levels of mass resolution, dynamic range, and detection sensitivity. It is specifically designed for field portable Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry and has been incorporated into the smallest package available anywhere in the world.
