Silicon-Intensifier Target (SIT) Tubes
For very low light level applications

4804/H Series -- Sturdy 16 mm types especially useful in low light level TV surveillance systems, astronomy, underwater inspection and wafer inspection. These types are available in potted versions. The suffix P indicates a specific potting configuration use on the image section of the tube. (No designation - unpotted).
P1 -- Ground strap anode connector.
P2 -- Built-in shield protects targets.
P4 -- Target lead exposed for low capacitance.
P5, P6, P7 -- Separate image section high-voltage lead treatment makes these devices highly useful in active systems using pulsed illuminators, e.g., laser ranging, and in passive systems operating over a wide dynamic range of light levels.
P8 -- Replacement for SIT tubes in Motorola Model S1177 Series and V14007 Series cameras.
P9 -- Replacement for intensified hetero-junction tubes in Motorola Model S1176 and V14006 Series cameras.

Intensified Silicon-Intensifier (ISIT) Tubes
For ultra low light level applications

4849/H Series -- Sturdy, 16 mm Intensified Silicon-Intensifier Target (ISIT) camera tubes designed for use in ultra low light level TV systems. These types are two-stage TV camera tubes employing a SIT tube of the 4804/H Series that is fiber-optically coupled to a single-stage image intensifier stage. This combination provides a camera tube having a sensitivity that is approximately 120 times greater than that of the SIT tube itself.

Silicon-Intensifier Target Tubes
Silicon-Intensifier Target camera tubes are designed for use in very low light level TV systems. They employ the silicon diode array known for its low lag and its ability to exhibit low blooming when exposed to bright light sources and intense specular reflections within a scene. These tubes operate at light levels near the photoelectric noise limit.

Intensified Silicon-Intensifier Target Tubes
The Intensified Silicon-Intensifier Target camera tubes are two-stage devices employing a SIT tube that is fiber-optically coupled to a single stage image intensifier stage. This combination provides a camera tube having sensitivity approximately 120 times greater than that of the SIT tube itself. ISITs are for the ultra low light level applications.
